Around Mull

The Island of Mull is served with excellent ferry links either from Oban on the mainland, Lochaline, Morvern, or Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

Rock Cottage is situated on the edge of the historic village of Dervaig on the north west coast of Mull. Dervaig is 9 miles from Tobermory and approximately 4 miles from Calgary Beach. The village has a post office with large very well stocked shop within a short walk of Rock Cottage.

Nearby there are wildlife tour operators both on land and sea, plenty of walks, off road cycle routes, the Mull Sea Eagle Hide, standing stones, Am Birlinn restaurant, the Old Byre Heritage Centre, Calgary Art in Nature, abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery.

Rock Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore and experience the Island of Mull.
